Louisa Farm
Louisa Farms owes its name to Louisa Kontaxi-Batistatou, born in 1926 and raised in the olive-rich Kalamata region of the Peloponnesus. Growing up, Louisa learned first hand about the healthy “secrets” of extra virgin olive oil from her extended family’s olive farming holdings located throughout beautiful Kalamata, the Peloponnesus, and the Ionian islands.
Today, her children and grandchildren, continue to honor Louisa’s memory and her deep belief in the healing and positive dietary benefits of EVOO by offering THIAKO EVOO and KORONEIKO EVOO, each one harvested from a single variety of olives (Thiakes, Koreoneikes) grown in Skineas, on the gorgeous Ionian island of Kefalonia.
